Raiders smashed a glass patio door to steal cash, clothing and a computer from a home.
It happened at some point between 8pm and 10pm on Saturday, October 7 at a property on Hurdle Drove, in West Row.
It is believed there were four offenders who were possibly using a silver coloured car.
Anyone who has knowledge of the incident or saw any suspicious activity during the times stated should contact DC Anna Harvey at Bury St Edmunds CID on 101, quoting crime reference 37/65711/17 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
