Tickets are now on sale for West Norfolk's new online lottery scheme aimed at raising money for good causes.

More than 20 charities and organisations have joined West Norfolk Wins, with a further 15 to be added in the coming weeks.

The first lottery draw is due to take place on Saturday, May 26, where additional prizes include a 50' smart TV sponsored by homes developer Lovell and a sound bar sponsored by Hughes in King's Lynn.

Councillor Elizabeth Nockolds, deputy leader of West Norfolk council, said: 'The main purpose is to encourage people to support local charities and organisations but at the same time to give them a chance of winning up to £25,000.'
