Wells Lifeboat helped a six metre yacht back in to harbour after it got in difficulties in rough seas.
The all-weather lifeboat the Doris M Mann of Ampthill was launched at about 6.50pm on Sunday to come to the aid of the Graduate, which was on its way from Grimsby to Wells with two people on board.
Wells harbour had been standing by with their launch to escort the yacht into the harbour to a mooring but became concerned that the yacht was struggling in the blustery Westerly winds and difficult sea conditions.
The lifeboat located the yacht and guided it back to the harbour and no-one was hurt.
