Around 1500 people turned up to see the Wells Lifeboat crew hold their annual service day on Sunday.
The service was led by lifeboat chaplain the Reverend Neil Woodruff and the Reverend Brenda Stewart gave an address from on board the all-weather lifeboat.
The fishermen's version of the 23rd psalm was read by deputy second coxswain Mark Frary and crew members James Betteridge and Jim Heasman read the lessons.
The annual lifeboat service was first held 58 years ago by then coxswain David Cox, who at 92-years-old was again on-board the lifeboat during the service.
The traditional seafarers' hymns were accompanied by the Fakenham Town Band and led by the Churches Together Choir.
During the final hymn the inshore lifeboat moved towards the boats moored on the quay and in the harbour to take a collection while guild members collected from those on the quay.
The total amount raised came to £1430.17 which will go towards funding the lifeboat service.
