West Norfolk is the place to be for the hottest weather this bank holiday weekend.

Norwich-based forecaster Weatherquest said temperatures could reach highs of up to 23C over the next three days.

While the whole of Norfolk will get to experience the good weather, meteorologist Adam Dury said West Norfolk will see the warmest temperatures.

Mr Dury, from Weatherquest, said today (Friday, May 4) will be “fairly sunny”, with temperatures reaching 18C.

He said the mercury will rise to 20C on Saturday and up to 21C on Sunday. Both days will be clear and sunny.

However, Mr Dury said it will be West Norfolk that sees the peak temperatures, while the east coast will be slightly cooler due to a south easterly wind.

Bank holiday Monday is going to be even warmer at 23C, but with some “high cloud”, Mr Dury added. Tuesday is also forecast to be 23C.
