The county is in for showers and gusty winds as the Met Office issues a yellow weather warning for some parts of the country.
But while the south of England is at risk of heavy rain, thunderstorms and flooding this afternoon as Storm Miguel hits, Norfolk is set for lighter showers.
Local forecaster Weatherquest said: "There will be some rain this afternoon but not large amounts, just a few puddles across the region.
"Showers will continue this evening and into the early hours and there will be gusts of strong winds reaching around 40-45mph in the early morning and into Saturday."
The rest of the weekend is set to have a few showers passing through, but is due to be largely dry with sunny spells.
Today will be fairly mild with temperatures peaking at around 17C in Norwich.
