Norfolk could be faced with thundery showers today after days of scorching hot weather.
Some parts of the county, such as Tibenham, have not had rainfall for more than two weeks but that could change today as forecasters say showers could be on the cards.
However any showers will move away by this evening and tomorrow (Friday) is forecast to be another hot and dry day, with temperatures in the high 20s, or around 22C on the coast.
The region has enjoyed hot weather over the last two weeks with many flocking to the county’s numerous beauty spots to soak up the sun.
And Chris Bell, from Weatherquest based at the University of East Anglia, said that was set to continue with temperatures reaching 30C this weekend.
He said: “We will see one or two isolated heavy showers popping up across the southern and eastern parts of the region.”
He said there was around a 20pc chance of showers in any one place.
Tonight he said there would be fog on the Norfolk coast and “we lose the risk of showers tomorrow”.
