Next week looks set to be the warmest of the year with high temperatures of 21C in Norfolk.

The warmer air will start to move in from the south on Monday with temperatures across East Anglia reaching 18C.

Despite some showers on Monday and Tuesday, the warm weather will stay in the region with highs of 21C by Thursday.

Adam Dury, of Norwich-based Weatherquest, said: “The west of Norfolk, around The Wash, will see the best of the temperatures with it feeling a little cooler on the coast due to the sea breeze. But most of the region will see warmer weather.”

Temperatures rose noticeably over the weekend with highs of 17.5C at Houghton Hall and 16.5C in Norwich, making it the warmest day of 2018 so far.

But rain has returned this week with it feeling that bit cooler.
