Snow arrived on cue, with parts of Norfolk waking to a dusting of the white stuff.
By 9am it was coming down and settling in parts of West Norfolk, where the Met Office expected it to snow for most of the morning.
Old boats on the Fisher Fleet in King’s Lynn had a coating of white at first light, as the bells of St Nick’s tolled.
Roofs and pavements were soon covered as the first shop workers shivered into town for their Sunday shift.
Snow is predicted to move eastwards as the day goes on, with a yellow weather warning in place across Norfolk.
