Parts of East Anglia are waking up to beyond freezing temperatures this morning

Meteorologist and weather presented Dan Holley tweeted the temperatures earlier today, showing the Suffolk village of Santon Downham at -3.8C.

Other areas across East Anglia teetered just above freezing, the highest being in Writtle on 0.5C.

The -3.8C temperature was just 0.1C away from matching the coldest night of the season so far according to Holley. The maximum temperature for the rest of today is supposed to be around 7C.

Next week will hopefully see milder temperatures but will instead be met with the odd rain shower.
