Hopes are rising of getting Cromer's storm-hit Christmas show back on again by midweek.
Gaping holes in the pier decking, and the Pavilion Theatre's bar and auditorium have undergone emergency repairs this weekend.
An excited show company manager and musical director Nigel Hogg said on Saturday afternoon: 'We are hoping to get the show back on Wednesday or Thursday.'
The box office was badly damaged by the waves smashing up through the floor, but a temporary one was being set up in the bar.
Mr Hogg said hopes were now high of getting back soon. It hinged on a structural inspection over the weekend but there 'don't seem to be any major problems.'
He praised North Norfolk District Council for 'pulling out all the stops' to get the theatre and show back in action. 'They have been wonderful,' he added.
Cast members have been to the theatre to collect costumes for an appearance at this afternoons 5.30pm switching on of Cromer's Christmas lights.
Show bosses were initially been bullish about getting the show back on stage quickly, but the mood blackened when the extent of the damage to the pier became clear on Friday.
The Tides restaurant and souvenir shop are badly damaged however. Mr Hogg said: 'The shop has been lifted 6in higher than the box office next door.'
Council spokesman Peter Battrick said a clear up at Sheringham was also under way at the second, before switching to Cromer promenade on Monday.
