Voters in Waveney are being reminded to make sure their electoral details are up to date this month.
All August, every household in Waveney and the Suffolk Coastal area will receive a household enquiry form, containing the names of all the occupants in the home currently registered to vote.
On receival of this form, residents are required by law to then either confirm the details of they are correct, or update them if they have changed.
Once this exercise is complete, the information is used to compile to electoral register for future votes.
Responses can be made online by visiting www.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/annual-electoral-canvassAny households that do not respond by August 31 will be sent reminders, before being subject to door-to-door canvassing in order to complete the dateset.
Those who voted in recent elections are still required to respond to the household enquiry form.
