A Community Speedwatch team is calling for volunteers to help keep a Breckland town's roads safe.

The team in Watton is up and running but in order for them to continue to monitor the speed of vehicles, they need more people to help.

A minimum of six members are needed for the group to keep running and three people are needed to go out and monitor car speeds.

Community Speedwatch is a national initiative where members of local communities join with the support of the police to monitor speeds of vehicles using speed detection devices.

The growth of Community Speed Watch since the first Norfolk trial in Hopton-on-Sea in 2007 has been huge.

There are now 734 volunteers in 70 groups across the county.
