A software firm whose app cuts costs in the construction trade is hoping to build on success as it target the home DIY market, after securing a five-figure grant.

Easy Price Pro, based in Wattisfield near Diss, builds estimating programmes for the building trade with the aim of reducing time spent on pricing and improving accuracy.

The firm, which has sold 30,000 units across the UK, is creating mobile apps as it aims to speed up the process for current customers and expand into the DIY enthusiasts market.

New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership's Growth Hub's small grant scheme has awarded £16,000 to the project, which will create two new developer jobs.

Manager Rachel Betts said: 'For the building trade, estimating the cost of a new build is a time consuming and difficult process. Our software is laid out in a logical format, with minimal input required from the user.'
