A city-centre book shop has now closed and the site is earmarked for a new Jamie Oliver restaurant.
The Waterstone's shop in the Royal Arcade, Norwich, shut for the final time at the weekend, while the bookstore chain's shop in Castle Street remains open.
As previously reported, city councillors have given planning approval for the Royal Arcade site to be turned into one of the celebrity chef's Jamie's Italian restaurants. Plans show dining will be on the ground and first floor with the second floor being used by staff. There will be seating outside the restaurant and a new bar is planned towards the west of the building on the ground floor.
