It's a property with incredible views of Happisburgh lighthouse and it features on BBC1's Homes under the Hammer at 10am today.

Anne Barry and Steve Cockell, both 60, bought number 3, Coastguard Cottages, Beach Road, Happisburgh at auction last December.

Ms Barry said: 'There were people from the TV show at the Auction House. I was not that keen on doing it but my husband was. They filmed us when we moved in and asked us what we were going to do with it. Presenter Martin Roberts came to see the house.

'Then, they came back about three weeks' ago and filmed us again, after we'd had everything done.

'We paid £95,000 for it, and we've been told it's now worth £120,000, so we've made about £25,000 on it in seven months. But we did not do it for the money. We love Happisburgh.'

The couple also have a home in Richmond, Surrey, and she added: 'It's a holiday home for us. We have had a caravan at Happisburgh for years - that's moving inland - and we love the area.

'The view of the lighthouse is the best in the road - it's fantastic. We never close the curtains at night because the view's so great and there's nothing between us and the lighthouse, so nobody can look in.

'We moved in straightaway and we live between the two places now - Happisburgh and Richmond. Our builder was local, Graham Stocker.'

The couple, who have two grown-up children, put in a new kitchen and stripped the floor at the property, and also bought a baby AGA cooker.

Mr Cockell is a banker in the City of London and his wife was formerly head of HR for London's Prison Service, before she was made redundant.

She added: 'We have not seen the programme yet, so it will be a total shock. But we are very happy here already..'

Homes Under the Hammer presenters cast their expert eyes over a number of properties before they go to auction, giving their opinion on the respective buildings and their potential.

The series has been running since May 2003, and one of its presenters is Norwich City legend Dion Dublin.
