Motorists are being warned to remove their valuables from their cars when unattended following a series of thefts in Hoveton.

Four cars have been targeted in neighbouring streets - Tunstead Road and Two Saints Close - in just two days.

In the latest incident, a coat and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle which was broken into while parked on a driveway in Tunstead Road at some point between 10pm on Wednesday, January 25, and 10am on Thursday, January 26.

Food and other valuables were also stolen from the other vehicles during the raids.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

PC Peter Davison, North Norfolk Community Engagement Officer, said 'We urge residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables or lock them out of sight. If you see anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles please report it immediately by phoning 999.'
