A safe including a First World War service medal has been stolen after a break-in at a home in Beccles.
The cream coloured safe, measuring 12x18x18in, was taken from Annandale Drive between 9am on Saturday, August 4 and 12.45pm the following Saturday.
In the safe were several hundred American dollars, personal documents, bank cards, keys, a First World War service medal and share certificates. Jewellery including a gold heart-shaped ring, a ruby and diamond cluster engagement ring, a ladies gold wristwatch with an oblong face, a gold and ruby eternity ring and a pair of green amber earrings in silver mounts, was also stolen.
