A Fenland church will once again be a riot of colour for it’s 57th annual flower festival.
Walpole St Peter’s Church will be decked out in spectacular floral displays for it’s five-day festival, which begins on Saturday, June 2 until Wednesday, June 6.
This year there are a number of events and displays planned along with floral arrangements on the theme of “weddings through the years.”
Keys events includes a performance by morris dancers and a ukulele band on Saturday, maypole dancing on Monday and the Anthony Curton School choir on Tuesday.
Food and refreshments will be served all day at the marquee cafe with salad lunches to be served in the dining hall from 12pm.
The free festival is open from 9am - 5pm, with the exception of Sunday when it opens at 11.15am after a flower festival service at 10am.
