Charity chiefs from North Walsham Play are appealing for the public to vote for their Operation Woodville Play Park project in the Aviva Community Fund awards scheme.
The charity is striving to improve play areas throughout the town and has made the small Woodville area, in the heart of North Walsham, its first priority.
Spokesman Matthew Smith said: 'The first of its kind, the proposed park will have equipment that is accessible to all (regardless of need and/or ability).
'The new play park would have a wheelchair accessible roundabout, basket swing, four-seater springer, activity play panels and a small trim trail. The whole area will be encased with an all-weather safety surface.'
Aviva funding would help the project reach its target, Mr Smith added.
