The role of volunteers was celebrated at a get-together yesterday in Fakenham marking the end of Volunteers Week.

Representatives of many community organisations joined together for the event at the First Focus premises in the town centre and there was an exchange of ideas and information.

Representatives of many community organisations joined together for the event at the First Focus premises in the town centre and there was an exchange of ideas and information.

Fakenham mayor David Cubitt spoke to the volunteers and thanked all those who give up their time to help others within their community. He said that hoped that more people would become involved in volunteer roles.
