A retired couple have taken their 35-year-old Royal Mail Van for a third fundraising outing around the British Isles, this time in aid of a new school.
Following their trip from Wymondham to John O'Groats to Land's End and back in 2016, and from Lowestoft to St David's Head in 2017, Jim and Jennifer Cawte decided to cross the Irish sea in their 1983 Morris Ital 'Postman Pat' Royal Mail van.
The trip was in aid of the new Chapel Green School, which recently moved from Attleborough to Old Buckenham.
Chapel Green School is purpose built for the complex needs of the pupils but is in need of £80,000 of equipment.
The Cawtes travelled from Wymondham to Dublin in an anti-clockwise sponsored tour of Ireland's 32 counties, including Northern Ireland and Eire, from April 11 to 26.
