South Quay has fully re-opened after scaffolding blew down in Hall Quay, Great Yarmouth today.
More than half a dozen police vehicles attended the former HSBC bank to cordon off the unsafe structure.
A fire engine was sent after a call at 11.47am but was stood down within an hour, before scaffolders arrived to repair the damage.

South Quay was closed southbound, with diversions in place, and the northbound route was heavily congested.
Grant Scott, building control manager at the borough council, confirmed surveyors attended an incident in Hall Quay where some scaffolding covered in plastic sheeting had come away in the high winds from one side of the building.
'The situation was not considered to be dangerous as officers from Norfolk police had already put in place an extensive cordon,' he said. 'The surveyors advised the occupants of the building to only leave the building as a last resort and not to enter the back car park for any reason.
'To rectify the problem, the contractors, who had originally erected the scaffolding, built a second scaffold with a work platform, from which they started work to dismantle the affected section of scaffolding.'
He said he hoped it would be fully dismantled by yesterday evening.
The Health and Safety Executive, in Norwich, was informed about the incident as a matter of procedure.
Officers were also called after a street lamp in Pasteur Road blew down, and the fire service was called to assist after a tree fell in the road at Townlands in Gorleston.
