The venue of a grown-up ball pit being installed in a Prince of Wales Road club has been revealed, as more than 700 people watched the unveiling live on Facebook.

Nightclub Mercy will play host to the pit - filled with 70,000 plastic orbs - set to open on April 27 under the banner Project M.

In a Facebook Live video on the Ball Pit Events page, UEA student and club promoter Zee said: 'We're going to be launching a new night run by students, for the students. And because we know exactly what you want - because let's face it all students are kind of broke - it's going to be the cheap entry and the cheap drinks.'

But in the comments it was confirmed the event was open to all.

It is thought to be the first event of its kind in the city, but adult ball pits have been opened elsewhere.
