Vehicle fire on A47 near Swaffham extinguished

Fire engines were called to reports of a vehicle fire on the A47, near Swaffham, but the flames were extinguished before their arrival.

The emergency services were called to the McDonald’s roundabout near Swaffham at 2.47pm.

By the time they arrived the blaze was out.

Appliances from Dereham and Watton attended the incident.

Police were called to the area at 2.50pm for the purposes of traffic control.
