A van rolled over after leaving the A47 during the evening rush hour.
Fire crews from Earlham and Carrow were sent to the incident, which happened on the eastbound carriageway half a mile east of the Thickthorn roundabout at 5.45pm.
The crews helped police to make the scene safe. The road did not need to be closed, though traffic built up as vehicles slowed near the scene.
