Updated: Firefighters tackle a blaze in Clenchwarton, near King’s Lynn

Firefighters have tackled a blaze involving gas canisters at a garage in Clenchwarton, near King's Lynn.

The alarm was raised just after 11.30am today (Friday) and four crews from Lynn and Sandringham were called out.

A spokesman for Norfolk Fire Service said there were LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) canisters at the garage workshop, in Wildfields Road, and firefighters remain at the scene cooling the canisters down.

The fire was brought under control at 12.40pm and nobody is thought to have been hurt.
