A woman who suffered chest injuries following an incident that saw armed police and an air ambulance deployed in Reepham remains in hospital three days later.
Police said they were called to the Sun Barn Close area of the village after reports of a woman in distress shortly after 4pm on March 30.
Police cordoned off a part of the road and residents said they were advised to stay inside, and a woman in her 40s who was in a terraced house was taken to hospital by ambulance. Police remained at the scene into the evening.
A police spokesman said enquiries into what happened are continuing.
