POLICE are dealing with a serious collision in Bungay.
Reports were received shortly before 1.15pm this afternoon (Friday) that three vehicles had been in collision in Beccles Road.
A white Vauxhall Corsa, a silver Ford Fusion and a blue Volvo V40 were involved in the crash.
Police and paramedics are at the scene. The road is currently closed and diversions are in place at the junctions with Kents Lane and Wingfield Street.
A police spokesman said a man was treated by ambulance staff at the scene. It is understood that one woman received a cut to her hand.
An elderly man is thought to have had a stroke shortly before the collision and is in the serious condition.
Police were still carrying out investigations on Friday evening.
