A pedestrian was taken to hospital with head, arm and shoulder injuries after being struck by a car on the A47 at Hockering earlier this morning.
The casualty, a man thought to be aged in his 20s, was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment after he was hit by a grey Ford Ka at about 6.30am.
While emergency services attended the scene, the A47 was closed in both directions between the Wood Lane junction in Hockering and the B1147 junction in Clint Green. The road re-opened to traffic at about 8.45am.
Any witnesses to the incident should contact PC Patrick Wilder at Wymondham Roads Policing on 101.
