A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with a head injury after a two-vehicle collision in Sprowston earlier today.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The A1151 Wroxham Road was partially blocked at the Merlin Avenue junction for several hours following the accident, which happened at about 7.50am.
A fire crew from Sprowston attended and used small gear to manually release the man.
