Police have named the Lowestoft woman who died following a road traffic collision in Lowestoft on Friday as Norah Smith, 89 of Parkside Drive.
Police were called just before 11am on Friday to the incident on Parkside Drive following reports that a Toyota Avensis car had been in a collision with a pedestrian.
The ambulance and air ambulance attended the scene where the woman received serious injuries to her head and leg.
She was taken by ambulance to James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston where she died.
Any witnesses to the collision should call PC Danny Ormes at Suffolk Police's Roads Policing Unit at Martlesham Headquarters on 101.
