A busy road in Acle has re-opened after being blocked this morning when a three-car crash caused congestion on part of the A47 westbound.
The A47 Acle Straight was blocked after one car went into the back of another about 300 yards prior to the Acle roundabout heading towards Great Yarmouth, causing that car to also go into the back of the one in front of it.
No one was injured, vehicle damage was the main result of the crash and while recovery vehicles are still trying to get through to the vehicles, they are no longer obstructing the road.
The crash did not shut the busy road but blocked one lane and was causing congestion during the rush hour traffic.
The crash took place around 7.30am today, with a Peugeot, a Ford Mondeo and a Renault Laguna involved.
