Drivers were warned to avoid the B1136 Yarmouth Road after a car overturned at Hales, near Loddon.
The crash, which involved a single vehicle, happened just before 8.50am today.
Firefighters from Loddon and Carrow went to the scene, between the A143 Church Hill junction and the Loddon Road junction.
They made the vehicle and surrounding area safe and helped police and ambulance crew.
The road was partially blocked until about 10.30am and Norfolk police urged drivers to take alternative routes.
