A bomb disposal team has taken away a 13lb artillery shell that was found in a garden in Kessingland, near Lowestoft, today.
The shell was found at about noon off the High Street as work was going on at a house.
Due to the distance of the garden from other properties, no one has had to be evacuated by police and people in nearby homes were told to stay at the front of their properties.
A bomb disposal team was called in and they identified it as a 13lb artillery shell that had no munitions in. It has been taken away by the team.
