UKIP candidates take both seats in Watton Town Council election

Two UK Independence Party candidates have been elected to Watton Town Council.

Norfolk County councillor Stan Hebborn was elected with 550 votes along with Jennifer Fishlock, with 532.

The other candidates were Vanessa King, Jane Fountain, Dylan Halliwell and Penelope Pugh.

Out of Watton's total electorate, 5757 eligible voters, 1170 ballots were issued giving a turnout of 20.2pc.

Six ballot papers were rejected.
