Two women taken to hospital after head-on crash in Taverham

Two women were left in hospital following a head-on crash on Fir Covert Road in Taverham this afternoon.

The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 12.13pm and dispatched an ambulance crew to assist.

At the scene the two women, who were both conscious and breathing, were treated for shock and seat belt related injuries before both being taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment in stable conditions.
