Two vehicles have been involved in a crash in Norwich today.

The collision on the A140 Ipswich Road - involving a Ford Fiesta and a Vauxhall Astra - happened shortly before midday.

A Norfolk police spokesman said nobody was believed to have been seriously injured and that the fire service and ambulance service were called as a precaution.

The fire service sent crews from Hethersett, Wymondham and Sprowston to provide first aid and make the scene safe.

The road was partially blocked as a result of the crash and diversions were put in place.
