Two taken to hospital as rush hour crashes cause traffic delays

Motorists are being asked to avoid the Gillingham area this evening after a van rolled over on the ice on Raveningham Road.

The male driver of the Mercedes van was taken to hospital by ambulance following the accident which happened at about 5pm.

Diversions were set up but police said drivers should avoid the area if possible.

At South Green, Dereham, the A1075 was blocked for about an hour from 4.30pm after a 12-year-old boy was hit by a bus. The boy was taken to hospital by ambulance with cuts and bruises.
