Two of Norfolk's social care providers have joined forces after Independence Matters acquired Breckland Care at Home.
The move secures the future of Breckland Care and means older and vulnerable people in rural locations across mid-Norfolk will continue to receive the care they need at home.
Dr Simon Hibberd, a former board member of Breckland Care, will join the Independence Matters Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Sarah Stock, Managing Director of Independence Matters said: 'These are challenging times for the social and health care market and it is rewarding that we are able to support the longer term development and future of this successful and worthwhile venture for the benefit of its customers and the community.
'We want to offer reassurances that Breckland Care will continue to provide the same level of service and the same staff will continue in their roles.'
