Two youths were left with minor injuries following an incident involving a BB gun in Great Yarmouth.

Police were called to the Dorset Close area of the town at around 5.30pm on March 10 following reports than an air weapon or BB gun had been fired.

It is not known at this stage if the BB gun was fired from a property or in the street but the incident left two youths with minor injuries.

PC Steven Lee of Great Yarmouth Police said; 'I would urge anybody with any information to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers. This appears to be an isolated incident and there appears to be no ongoing risk to members of the public. Although BB guns and air weapons may appear to be fun to use, they can be extremely dangerous. Thankfully on this occasion the injuries received were minor.'

•Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Steven Lee at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
