Two people had to be freed from a crashed car by firefighters.

A black Vauxhall car crashed at Long Row in Tibenham, south Norfolk, at just after 7pm yesterday (Monday). No other vehicle was thought to be involved.

Emergency services, including fire crews from Attleborough, Diss and Long Stratton, along with police and ambulance went to the scene.

Firefighters released the driver and passenger from the vehicle, who were then passed into the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.

The road was closed while emergency services attended. It re-opened at just after 9.30pm.

BT also had to be called as a cable had been hit during the crash.
