Two people have been arrested after more than 500 nitrous oxide canister were seized from a van on the outskirts of Norwich.
A Mercedes van was stopped by police on Long Lane, in Bawburgh , near the Costessey park and ride, at around 9.40pm.
Officers searched the vehicle and seized approximately 570 canisters.
Two men inside the car, both aged 21 and from the London area, were arrested and remain in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.
Nitrous oxide is known to be a used recreational substance under the name 'laughing gas.'
