TWO people today (Monday) admitted the murder of a 44 year old man in Great Yarmouth when they appeared at Norwich Crown Court.

The body of Derek Blake, of Louise Close, Great Yarmouth, was found at an address in St Nicholas Road in the town.

Andrew Brown, 42, and Helen Cooke, 18, of St Nicholas Road, admitted murdering Mr Blake between May 22 and May 25, this year.

The case was adjourned for reports including psychiatric reports and sentencing is expected to take place in October.

No plea was taken from a third defendant Ricky Roys, 20, also of St Nicholas Road, who is also charged with murder of Mr Blake. Roys will have a further hearing on August 17.

All three were remanded in custody.
