Norwich Road in Halesworth is partially blocked and two men are believed to have hit their heads in a two-car crash close to the station this afternoon.

Police remain at the scene, and traffic is very slow on the northbound road.

Two men, one believed to be in his 50s and the other in his 60s, are believed to have suffered minor head injuries and were taken to James Paget University Hospital.

The accident, which involved a Mazda 6 and a Ford Kuga, occurred approximately 50 yards from the station, at the junction with The Avenue.

Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 2.10pm.

The East of England Ambulance service sent a rapid response vehicle and one ambulance crew to the scene, while firefighters freed one of the men from his car using hydraulic cutting equipment.

Recovery is currently on the scene.
