Two people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash at the Elveden crossroads on the A11 near Thetford.

Two people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash at the Elveden crossroads on the A11 near Thetford.

Two fire and rescue crews from the town were joined by firefighters from Mildenhall when they had to free the occupants of both cars, who were trapped after the collision at about 12.20pmtoday (Sunday).

The air ambulance was called to the scene but was not needed and the two injured were taken to the West Sussex Hospital at Bury St Edmunds.
