A car ended up on its roof and another left the carriageway due to icy conditions on a north Norfolk road this morning.

Police were twice called out to a stretch of the A149 between Cromer and North Walsham, after the mercury dipped below zero.

Officers were first called at around 1.20am after a green Fiat Punto left the road and ended up on its roof. The driver and two passengers were uninjured.

They later attended the same stretch at 7.48am after a Ford left the road. No one was injured.
