A road was blocked for hours today after a lorry load of turkeys went into a ditch.
Police said the vehicle left the road at around 5.30am on Whittington Hill, between Whittington and Northwold.
The single vehicle collision left the road partially blocked close to the Sheridan School.
The road was cleared and the lorry removed at 2.16pm. Police said the lorry driver was not injured and the load of hundreds of turkeys remained secure.
Norfolk Fire and Rescue also attended and made the scene and the vehicle - which was leaking fuel - safe.
