The delights of Argentine tango are alive and well in West Norfolk with a thriving club in King's Lynn. A following of enthusiastic dancers learn everything from the most basic moves to more complex techniques with resident teacher Carole Jones.

The club is offering the chance to learn with different tutors who are touring Europe and the UK later this year. The first of the guest teachers will be Savio Andrea, of Cambridge Tango, who will be offering two-hour lessons for beginners and improvers on Monday.

Another guest teacher will be Mabel Rivero, who was born and trained in Argentina and now lives in Berlin. She tours Europe and the UK teaching keen Argentine tango dancers from beginners to the advanced stage. She will be visiting the club on September 26 and offering private lessons as well as a two hour beginner and improver session.

The club meets on the second and last Monday of each month at Gaywood Community Centre. Beginner lessons start at 7.30pm, with improver sessions from 8.30pm. General dancing will take place immediately after the taught sessions until 10.30pm. The whole evening costs 5 per person.
