Cristina Magda-Calancea, 26, known as Kyky, suffered fatal stab wounds at an address in Fen Road, King's Lynn, last Friday.

Gediminas Jasinskas, 29, of Tennyson Avenue, Lynn, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

A gofundme page has been set up to raise money for a memorial and her repatriation to Romania.

Writing on the gofundme page Miss Magda-Calancea's brother Milea Razvan said: 'With broken hearts we come together in loving memory of Cristina. She was taken from us too soon and without warning. Help us help her family with the finances to cover the memorial and her repatriation to Romania.

'We love you Kyky. This one's for you. Until we meet again.'

Close friend of Miss Magda-Calancea's, Anda Mihaela said: 'I remember Cristina as a smiley girl, very happy and there for everyone who needs help.'

Anda Miheala had known Miss Magda-Calancea for two years since moving to England and became good friends.

She said: 'Cristina has been working hard to earn her money, she's been on lots of holidays around the world because she was that kind of person who loved adventures and the nature as well.'

Miss Magda-Calancea had been working in factories during the three or four years she had been living Lynn.

Speaking of the last time she saw her friend, Miss Miheala said: 'I saw Cristina around the end of July, due to all of us busy with work, unfortunately it did not give us the possibility to seen each other so often.'

Writing on Facebook, neighbour Laura Chenery said: 'To the beautiful girl who lived at the end of our road, I still cannot believe this happened while we were sat there watching TV. I am so sorry this happened to you.'

'I stood outside earlier and placed a little angel outside the front I looked up at the window I feel emptiness, sadness and I send your family and friends all the love in the world right now.'

'My thoughts are also with all the ambulance and A&E staff who couldn't save you and will have sleepless nights, with the police who stormed the house and saw the scene which will haunt them for a long time. To the neighbours who heard your screams. Rest in peace beautiful.'
